A series with a character who is dumb, pathetic, and useless at first. At least, that's how you'll feel about him. The characters in this anime are made to be realistic to where they have clear flaws and have to struggle with those flaws to become better people. Subaru might even remind you of someone you know in real life.
The ability the main character Subaru has is used as a tool to help Subaru realize many things about himself and others while making him learn valuable lessons. This series is a journey with a moral lesson of loving and being honest with yourself and others.

Very nice, well-contained story. there are many good plot twists and the story payoffs are very satisfying. characters are well-written and their development throughout the story is fun to watch. for a shonen, there's only like one or two filler episodes that aren't bad at all. Honestly, lives up to its name as the best shonen. The villains were also properly fleshed out and were a great part of the cast. the art style wasn't bad and the animation was also okay until fight scenes hit and the budget comes out.
