A series with a character who is dumb, pathetic, and useless at first. At least, that's how you'll feel about him. The characters in this anime are made to be realistic to where they have clear flaws and have to struggle with those flaws to become better people. Subaru might even remind you of someone you know in real life.

The ability the main character Subaru has is used as a tool to help Subaru realize many things about himself and others while making him learn valuable lessons. This series is a journey with a moral lesson of loving and being honest with yourself and others. This story may be dark, but as it will show you, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.

It feels oddly refreshing from the many stories of the same genre that gorge on power fantasy and the many other self-satisfying aspects of isekai.

Would highly recommend.
